Holy Spirit
We come before you in an abundance of happiness as we joyously prepare ourselves for the coming of Jesus, the greatest gift God has ever bestowed upon us.
Excitement burns inside us as we anticipate the birth of our Savior.
Rain down your love upon us in a way only capable of a redeemer.
Blanket our hearts with humility as we welcome God’s only Son into our lives
Inspire us to be beacons of peace a shining example like the star that rose about the stable in Bethlehem.
Help us share our gifts with those less fortunate this season. Help us share our faiths to those in need of hope, our food to those who hunger, our smiles to those who are sad and our hugs to those who longer for your touch.

Make us like Angel Gabriel as we proclaim the good news
Help us to care for others as the Shepherds cared for baby Jesus
Make us like the Kings who traveled great distances for their beliefs
Give us the grace of Mary when receiving hard comings
Make us like Joseph as we support those we love

Open our eyes to those in need this Christmas
Open our hearts to give and receive love from our brothers and sisters
Open our arms in a welcoming hug to all we meet
Open our minds to new ideas to fulfill the angelic wish of Peace on Earth
Open our soul to the nourishment of wisdom
With the power of fire and the grace of doves Come Holy Spirit Come illuminate our hearts this Christmas.
